Annapolis County Municipal Housing Corporation
The Annapolis County Municipal Housing Corporation is owned by the Municipality of the County of Annapolis. The Corporation owns and operates the Mountain Lea Lodge (MLL) nursing home, the Annapolis County Adult Residential Centre (ARC) and supervised apartments.
Mountain Lea Lodge

Mountain Lea Lodge is a warm and inviting nursing home located on Hampton Mountain Road, north of Bridgetown, Nova Scotia. It's grounds are well maintained and at the rear of the facility a garden and fountain area provide a pleasant environment for relaxation and social interaction. Mountain Lea Lodge provides 106 long-term care beds and 1 respite bed for seniors in Annapolis County.
Crosskill Court, containing assisted living apartments, is located behind and attached to Mountain lea Lodge, which provides services under an agreement with the Annapolis Valley Housing Authority.
Mountain Lea Lodge has a reputation for high quality care and is geographically well situated to serve the needs of Annapolis County and the western valley with the resources and infrastructure to be able to offer a wide range of programs and services. The building is a two storey concrete block, brick-faced structure.
Annapolis County Adult Residential Centre and Supervised Apartments

The Annapolis County Adult Residential Centre serves the needs of adults who are mentally handicapped, and who require more stable long-term living environments. The Centre follows an individualized approach for clients to enable them to achieve and utilize their potential. Clients are assisted to live as independently as possible within the community.
The Adult Residential Centre was constructed in 1987 and is immediately adjacent to Mountain Lea Lodge. A single-story brick building, it sits on expansive well-kept grounds in quiet and picturesque surroundings. It is clean, bright and home like in appearance.
This 2,227 square meter facility is divided into three units plus common space that includes an activity/recreation room and common eating area. The type of room and capacity for each of the three units is:

In addition to the centre itself, the ARC also operates a separate, 3-Unit supervised apartment facility that houses 8 individuals; this facility was opened in 1987 and is located further along Church Street from the Adult Residential Centre.
